Aisling McGowan graduated from University College Dublin with a First-Class Honours B.A in Economics.
She joined Damien Tansey & Associates in 2006 and underwent her traineeship with the firm.
She qualified as a solicitor into the Litigation Department, gaining particular expertise in the fields of Personal Injury Claims (including Medical Negligence and Malpractice) and Commercial Litigation.
In 2014, she moved to Dublin based solicitors’ practice Noel Smyth & Partners, where she worked for three years in its Litigation Department. There Aisling specialised in high-value claims across a board spectrum of legal matters.
In 2017, she returned to Damien Tansey Solicitors as an Associate Solicitor, and practices at the firm’s Sligo office.
Aisling has particular experience in dealing with a wide variety of legal proceedings. This includes all manner of Personal Injury Litigation*, Employment Litigation, Family Law Litigation, Medical Negligence/Medical Misadventure* and Commercial Litigation.
Aisling was admitted as a Solicitor in Ireland and in England and Wales. She is a member of the Dublin Solicitors Bar Association and the Medico-Legal Society. She holds a Diploma in Finance Law from the Law Society of Ireland.
