Sinead Whelan, Associate Solicitor, specialises in all forms of Litigation, to include Medical Negligence / Medical Malpractice* and Persona Injury Claims* (Road Traffic Accidents, Workplace Accidents, and related injuries). She has legal experience in medical negligence cases of all types including cerebral palsy, birth injury and brain injury cases, and has represented families at high profile Coroner’s Inquests.
She is a regular lecturer in matters of Irish Law. In recent years, Sinead has lectured to a wide range of groups (including Practicing Solicitors and members of Accounting Technicians Ireland). She is also a widely published author of articles on Irish Litigation practice and other related areas.
Sinead joined Damien Tansey & Associates as a trainee in 2007, spending three years in that office post-qualification. She subsequently joined the Law Society of Ireland in 2012 to work as a solicitor where she dealt with a wide variety of areas of practice affecting solicitors throughout Ireland. In 2017, she re-joined Damien Tansey Solicitors.
