Damien Tansey Solicitors have announced the acquisition of the old ESB Regional Headquarters to house their rapidly growing legal practice’s new Sligo offices.
The new premises are on the corners of Castle Street and Rockwood Parade, and they straddle the full length of Thomas Street. The premises sit in the middle of Sligo’s Legal Quarter.
The substantial premises will provide the law firm with more office space than any law firm in the West of Ireland. The firm hopes that Brexit will create opportunities for the wider region and they plan for their new premises to give vent to that potential.
Ciaran Tansey told Ocean FM News that the firm has outgrown their existing offices on Castle Street, and when the old ESB Headquarters came on the market, client demand compelled them to acquire it.
