Damien Tansey Solicitors LLP continues to fight for Donegal client who loaned €300,000 to former friends

Damien Tansey Solicitors LLP acted for Donegal woman, Della Kerrigan, and were successful in securing a High Court Order, requiring her former friends to repay her almost €300,000 which she had loaned them. The former friends (a Donegal couple) have since declared bankruptcy. John and Jacqueline Keenaghan of Rathmore, Ballyshannon, were made bankrupt by the High Court on 2 March after stating that they could not meet their debts, including the €297,439 they owe to Ms Kerrigan. Aisling Harrison (Senior Associate) of Damien Tansey Solicitors LLP, representing Ms Kerrigan and has accused the Keenaghans of “exhausting all avenues in a bid to tactically delay and frustrate matters” for her client.
